Much more than a fender supplier
AMS MARINE is a technical partner for port infrastructure. We design, supply, install and maintain fender and mooring systems tailored to the real constraints of each project.

Ports cannot simply rely on the purchase of a standard product
In the field, no two port projects are exactly alike. Quay configuration, vessel characteristics, berthing conditions, performance requirements, regulatory constraints, lead times and maintenance costs must all be taken into account to define the right solution.
In this context, picking equipment from a catalogue is not enough. You need to understand the project, size the solution, control its procurement and be able to see it through to installation and commissioning. That observation is what led to the creation of AMS MARINE.
We chose to build an alternative to the major international suppliers: a specialised, agile company that stays close to its clients and delivers reliable, high-performing and competitive technical solutions.
From replacement fender supply to turnkey solutions
AMS MARINE was founded in 2021 by Atia FARHI, as part of a partnership with a Moroccan company, to meet the growing need to renew the marine fenders installed in Moroccan ports.
The business started out with the supply and installation of replacement fenders. But the needs encountered in the field quickly led AMS MARINE to broaden its scope.
Simply supplying equipment was not always enough.
Projects also required design, sizing, local fabrication of steel structures, assembly, installation and, increasingly, maintenance.
The company thus evolved from a supply business into an integrated approach:
Engineering Studies & Sizing
Design
Manufacturing
Procurement
Supply
Installation & Maintenance
This evolution reflects a conviction that remains at the heart of AMS MARINE: the value of a solution is measured not only by the product delivered, but by its ability to meet the project’s requirements over the long term.
A credible alternative to the established leaders
The fender market includes international players with strong brand recognition and major project references. AMS MARINE does not try to replicate their model. We chose to build our own around five principles.
Understanding berthing challenges and project requirements to help define the right solution.
Quickly adapting our organisation and our offer to the specific constraints of each project.
Maintaining direct dialogue with our clients and staying available at every stage of the project.
Striking the best balance between technical performance, quality and cost control.
Delivering on our commitments in quality, performance, lead times and service.
Our proposition is simple: reliable, high-performing, flexible and competitive technical solutions. With proximity on top.
Technical expertise. Industrial experience. Hands-on field knowledge.
AMS MARINE draws on complementary profiles from industrial sales, engineering, mechanical manufacturing and steel construction.
Atia FARHI
Founder - Technical, commercial and international expertise
With a background in both engineering and sales, Atia FARHI has worked since 2004 as a technical sales engineer, including as export manager for North Africa and the Middle East at QUIRI, a French industrial SME.
Trained in metallurgy and strength of materials, with a Master’s degree in international tradeand further training in project quality, welding and auditing, he has built cross-functional expertise spanning technical, regulatory, commercial, logistics and project management matters.
His career at QUIRI also led him to develop subcontracting activities and partial manufacturing partnerships. This experience was one of the foundations of AMS MARINE: connecting technical expertise, industrial partners and the operational realities of North African markets.
Mezouar EL HARRAK HAJRI
Partner - Industrial, manufacturing and field expertise
AMS MARINE also draws on the expertise of Mezouar EL HARRAK HAJRI, partner and head of LNCI — Les Nouvelles Compétences Industrielles, a company founded in 2006 that specialises in steel construction and mechanical manufacturing.
With 31 years of experience in these trades, he brings solid field experience in manufacturing, installation, after-sales service and maintenance. His experience leading design and fabrication projects for welded steel assemblies in the maritime sector naturally complements Atia FARHI’s technical and commercial expertise.
This complementarity is one of the foundations of the AMS MARINE model: international expertise combined with industrial and field capability.
The proximity of AMS MARINE.
The industrial strength of JIER MARINE.
To deliver high-performing, competitive solutions, AMS MARINE relies on an exclusive partnership with JIER MARINE, an international manufacturer specialising in high-performance rubber fenders and mooring bollards.
With more than 20 years of experience, a presence in over 50 countries, a 50,000 m²manufacturing site, automated production lines and in-house testing facilities, JIER MARINE gives AMS MARINE significant industrial depth.
Its organisation is also built on international standards, with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, as well as university partnerships for research and development on materials, structures and durability.
For our clients, this alliance brings together two complementary strengths: the industrial capacity of a specialist manufacturer and the proximity of an agile technical partner.
Helping build safer, more reliable and more sustainable ports
Every port plays an essential role in the supply chain. Every berth must be able to receive vessels safely, protect the structures and limit the risk of operational downtime. AMS MARINE’s mission is to help make port operations more reliable, safer and more sustainable.
That means solutions that can:
make berthing safe, protect quays, preserve vessels and support continuity of operations.
Protect infrastructure, preserve performance, and ensure long-term durability.
A Commitment
Solutions designed to meet real-world requirements, project after project.
What guides the way we work
Keeping our commitments
A commitment made is a commitment kept. We place as much importance on product quality and performance as on meeting deadlines and service commitments.
Business ethics & lasting relationships
We believe in long-term business relationships built on transparency, respect and trust.
Passion for our craft
We love getting to the bottom of technical challenges, finding the right solutions and making a tangible contribution to the success of port projects.
Three values. One standard: stay serious, consistent and true to our commitments.
Building a trusted name in the port sector.
AMS MARINE aims to grow step by step, project by project, without giving up what sets it apart today. Our ambition is not simply to become one more supplier.
We want to be recognised as a serious, reliable and consistent partner, able to meet its clients’ technical requirements and honour its commitments over the long term.
Already established in its core markets, AMS MARINE intends to gradually expand its presence in Africa, France and the Benelux, drawing on its industrial network, its local partners and its exclusive partnership with JIER MARINE.
Grow, yes. But grow without losing our high standards, our ethics or our proximity.
